63 Tree volume

Based on the measured diameter(s) and height, the tree volume can be estimated using locally known form factors or through the use of valid volume tables.

The tree volume shall be expressed in cubic metres (m³) with 3 decimals.

The formula used to compute tree volume and the minimum diameter used for the volume calculation should be reported in the data accompanying form.
