94 Height and cover of layers

The estimated cover of the tree layer, the shrub layer, the herb layer and the moss layer shall be submitted as % of the total sampled area.

The estimated cover of bare soil and litter shall be submitted as separate “layers” as % of the total sampled area (effective surfaces covered by visible mineral soil and rocks and visible litter (even if under shrubs, herbs or trees). For the cover, please submit values between 0 and 100 %.
