86 Name of submitted digital image files

File name formats

The name of the image file to be uploaded has to follow the coding below.

Survey PH - XXPPPPNNNNDDDDDDTTTTTTSS.jpg

Survey OZ (until 2014) - XXPPPPNNN.NNN.NNN.NDDDDDDTTTTTTSS.jpg

Survey OZ (since 2016) - XXPPPNNN.NNN.NNNDDMMYYSS.jpg

!!! PLEASE NOTE: Numeric information needing less digits than specified in the format above has to be filled with leading zeros. !!!

Examples:

  • country code (2 digits) = “1” becomes “01”
  • LA measurement point number (4 digits) = “12” becomes “0012”

Legend:

  • X: 2 digits country code (see dictionary d_country)

  • P: 3 to 4 digits plot code

  • N:

    • LA: measurement point number
    • PH: tree number
    • OZ: 3 times 3 digits species coding according to Flora Europaea (see species list) until 2015 followed by
      • “1” in case of ozone damage
      • “0” in case of no ozone damage observed

  • D: date of image production (DDMMYY)

  • T: time of image production (HHMMSS)

  • S: sequence number (01, 02, 03,.)  to indicate which photo in a respective time.
